Nose: As in other micro cuvées, the classic Waterford aroma quintet of malt, nougat, toffee and caramel has a particularly intense appearance in this cuvée. If you don't understand this, you can stop reading now. However, if you like it, you will really enjoy this nose, because here Waterford shows once again what you can achieve with just over three years of maturity. Tarragon, marjoram, chervil and savory provide a solid base in addition to the aforementioned aromas, red apple and a little strawberry jam add fruity notes.
Palate: Pleasantly powerful acceleration, exactly what I recently missed with the Argot with its only 47%. The 50% already fits Waterford perfectly, you shouldn't change anything about it. Mirabelle plums, red apple, nougat chocolate, toffee, salted caramel, spices as in the nose. The young boy is really clinging to his tongue.
Finish: Here too: the boy has perseverance. You might not think so, but that's how it is. Some malt and toffee, lots of caramel, Magenbrot (the Swabians will know it).
