Nose:Fresh citrus. Waxy oak. Melons. Snow pears. More coastal and tropical as it breathes. Overripe plantain. Salted oat and pepper. Vanilla custard. WHite chocolate Kit Kat. Brazil nuts drizzled in processed honey.
Palate:Fairly peppery landing. Mellows down slowly and getting creamier mouthfeel. Fresh dough with flour dusted on top. Yellow fruits - apricots, cantaloupes, and mango. A touch of ashes and earthy oak. Increasingly malty. The funk that's often found in the 10yo is tamed as Springbank ages.
Finish:Long, mildly oily finish. The fruits lingers with a subtle touch of gluey cedar wood. Warm pepper and cloves.
