Nose: Very nice nose, lots of soft sherry, no tartaric acid, plus the Demerara sugar, which I also found in the current Kilkerran. But also a minimal hint of sulfur and olorososherry from the current Springbank 15er.
Mouth: The palate is really good, the dark fruit sweetness is very high quality and ripe. There are also slightly maritime aromas from the bourbon, even some salt in the background. Very nice. One of the good 18 year old standards with 46 percent.
Finish: The mouthfeel follows the palate and is of very good quality for a standard drinking strength. Lots of harmony, little dirt. The finish is almost long.
