Nose: The Oloroso takes the lead here: initially lots of nutty aromas (hazelnut, walnut, Brazil nut), slightly oily. Then red fruits/berries are added. In addition to the berries also raisins and plums. Very slightly floral/perfumed, but very subtle in the background. Sherry spices/spices/herbs. Honey, caramel for the sweetness, which mainly comes from the fruit.
Palate: Very spicy at the start, red fruits come through, the dryness is great. Tannins immediately coat the tongue and any saliva is drawn out. Decent sharpness is still there, but it fits. Nutty aromas emerge, slightly floral hints.
Finish: Tart impact from the sherry spice/oak tannins. Quite dry in the mouth. Leather/tobacco moment. But nut flavors disappear again.
