Tasting notes：

Nose: A relatively light peat smoke heralds a broad nose with many elements. Beyond the inital sharpness here is sea air, but also more earthy notes of an autumnal forest and pak choi, while it also has this typical farmy note. The sherry influence is in a hearty style with chocolate, bacon, tobacco and oranges. A hint of smoked cheese follows. Some rubber and a touch of sulphur give it the expected dirty edge Ledaig is known for.

Palate: Light to medium peat at the front, with again some rubbery and sulphury accents. Citrus fruits and chocolate intertwine with a sour yogurt-like note. Fruit jams and nuts develop, while the a salty / mineral accents remind of the coastal character Ledaig is known for.

Finish: The peat increases a bit in intensity again. The dirty side is on the front now, with some copper, rubber, vegetal/farmy notes and a hint of sulphur. Juicy fruits compete with a more dry oakiness and tannins, dark chocolate, liquorice and a slight bitterness. It lingers long yet subtle, it has a certain fragility to it.
