Tasting notes：

Nose: What we could say about these last releases of Symington's, that they all have a super alcohol integration on the "nose".
Strong sherry notes, but not my favourites ones, like strong nuts, wood's moisture, mushrooms, coffee bean, some trace of chocolate and orange blossom.
After a while, the nose approaches a sensation that is borderline sickening.

Palate: The alcohol is much more present here, burning a bit the tongue, then comes more praliné, mushrooms, orange, and moisture. Overall, the feeling of a 15 years old distillate in a simple sherry cask, arriving to a questionable result.

Finish:Medium long, with chocolate, praliné, spices, wood, alcohol and notes that I can't define, but that are not my cup of tea.I prefer much more the younger version of DD, of 17yo, in dark sherry and a price divided by 3, for a double pleasure.
