Glen Scotia Double Cask 46% 700ml

Nose: Good nose. Modest sherry.
Not overly sweet.
Some Campbeltown farmyard funk there.

Palate: About what was expected from the nose.
Light sherry mixed in with mild old school "dirty" spice.
OK value for a duty-free.

Finish: Medium length on slightly sweet caramel.
Not much of the spice remaining.

Glen Scotia Campbeltown Harbour 40% 700ml

Nose: Pleasant, deep fruity attack, vanilla, woods, citruses, irises.
I did not expect such a pleasant aroma from whisky of this level.

Palate: Fruit and tannin, tart, fresh, duchesse, bread and beer.

Finish: Tannins, wood bitterness.
