Nose: The first nose is full and mild. A load of aromas with fruits, vanilla, nutmeg, pudding, honey wax, creamy, tangerine sour cream cake, a very subtle pepper note, panna cotta. The second nose is really so tasty, creamy, buttery-sweet, you could get into it.
Palate: Significantly stronger and more voluminous in the mouth but no less convincing, honey, vanilla pudding, somewhat stormy, maritime, salt, oak, pepper, nutmeg, light fruits, sweet pear, mandarin. An interesting and varied contrast to the nose.
Finish: Initially spicy then quickly waxy and creamy, long-lasting, slightly tingling, almost like a fruit juice spritzer
Ben Nevis:
Nose: Mango, creamy, lychee, honey, beautifully exotic, plus vanilla sweetness, some oak and tart herbs, reminds me a bit of speculoos, cinnamon, Christmas cookies, orange, fruit tea, rock candy.
Palate: initially fruity-sweet, then quickly spicy-strong, brings a good fullness to the mouth, creamy, orange juice, oak, nutmeg, thyme.
