Nose: Intensely fruity on the nose, a whole basket of fruit. But mild, the alcohol is barely noticeable. I mainly smell oranges, peaches, apricots, strawberries and blueberries. And the fruit is sugared and incredibly sweet. A bit of candy floss probably indicates the grain content. A nice oak note rounds off the aroma, the nose is wonderfully harmonious. After some time in the glass, new aromas are added, now I find roasted almonds, plums, marzipan and a waxy note, among others. Overall, a beautiful nose, which becomes more beautiful the longer the whisky is in the glass.
Palate:Very sweet, creamy and mild in the mouth. The alcohol is very gentle and not disturbing at all. The sweet aromas mainly include oranges and apricots, as well as blossom honey and pleasant oak spice.
Finish: The finish starts with candy floss and spicy orange, here also mixed with a little orange peel. Then it quickly dries out with some old leather. A waxiness then introduces the end of the medium-long finish.
