Tasting notes：

Nose: Fruit salad! One would almost like to have a 90's Glen Keith in the glass. Yellow and white fruits spring from the snifter, tightly interwoven, luscious and slightly sweet.
Sherry and spices (worm tubs) slowly join in. Longer nosing reveals caramelized oak and a nice little umami note somewhere between rusty iron, ketchup and black pudding.

Palate: Powerful and balanced, initially classic sherry cask notes that never obscure the view of the distillate. Amazing for such maturity and colour.
Orchard, barbecue, subtle berry fruit and of course sherry notes alternate without overlapping. Beneath all this lies a certain heaviness and oiliness of the distillate and contrasts nicely with the lighter notes on the tip of the tongue.

Finish: The BR says goodbye dry and with the smallest trace of spice, the Wormtubs say hello. Again light fruit and umami/spice. A whisky full of contradictions, which is very good for him.
