Nose: A gust of wood smoke escapes, mixed with notes of sea spray, as if carried by a breath of wind along a shore. Fine swirls of pine resin, caramelized anise and a hint of blooming lily follow in a breeze. Citrus zest and a touch of cayenne pepper flow in. The addition of a drop of water brings out intense floral notes, charcoal and finally a drop of typical Sherry with linseed oil.
Mouth: Rich and generous followed by more classic and sweet notes as well as a touch of molasses is revealed on the palate. Then appear aniseed aromas and waves of soot. Smoke appears as notes of brown sugar, caramelized nuts and sweet spices come and go.
Finish: Long and persistent which carries in its wake bitter almonds, linseed oil, cloves, pepper and soot which slowly fades.
