Nose: Modern sherry notes without any "off notes"; superficially sweet and red fruity (red fruit jelly) - the barrel dominates; some plums; a touch of vanilla; Chocolate; Tobacco; Smoke hardly perceptible.

Palate:  Powerful; alcohol well integrated; less sweet than on the nose; Red fruits; plums; Bitter chocolate; Tobacco; some pepper; tart oak spice.

Finish: Sparkling spice; some pepper; delicate dark fruit sweetness; dark chocolate; tart oak spice.
