Tasting notes：

Nose:  Fresh, accomplished. On the first nose, notes of bitter orange and candied apricot are covered with a thin film of dark chocolate. Gradually, scents of prune, date, leather and beeswax underline the deep maturity of the aromatic palette. Increasingly outgoing, exotic (mango, guava, rancio) and heady (tuberose, lime blossom), this first stage of the tasting is particularly evocative of the cellars of the Domaine des Forges.

Palate: Ample, full. Impressively smooth and fresh, the attack on the palate takes on the fruity notes (orange, apricot) of the first nose. In the mid-palate, a new fruit makes its appearance: the peach whose grainy touch gently envelops the taste buds. The finish evolves towards increasingly autumnal tones (chestnut, chestnut, infused bay leaf).

Finish: Long, silky. Exotic (mango, guava), the start of the finish sets out to conquer medicinal (arnica, gauze) and camphor territories. In the aftertaste, notes of clay and limestone highlight the magnificent terroir of Petite Champagne. The retro olfaction is a subtle blend of wax, apricot, orange and toffee. The empty glass is empyreumatic (anthracite), mineral and spicy (candied ginger).
