Tasting notes：

Nose: Initially still a bit out of round due to an alcoholic sting in the otherwise quite modern sherry profile. Dry Oloroso style, with nuts, Pyrmont cherry and dark berries. Here, too, I miss the typical Mac orange note. Due to a fine muff note and this cherry, I would rather go for GlenRothes.

Palate: The first thing that strikes me is the creamy mouthfeel the malt leaves behind. Wild berry jam, nuts, spicy wood on the cheeks, but here too these cherry notes of modern sherry aging are just too intrusive.

Finish: The finish is quite strong and is carried by fruit and wood spice. The alcohol makes its way and warms properly. Almost a bit too strong for me. Sensitive people might get in trouble here. This is rewarded by the continued ultra creamy mouthfeel. Cherry Cream Candy. I've had that before with a more modern GlenRothes.
