Tasting notes：

Nose: As with the previous batch, there is plenty of caramel here, but the same applies here: Batch #6 is still top notch when it comes to caramel. However, the peat smoke takes it up a notch, which goes well with the grilled pineapple slices and grapefruit. Fresh tree sap, gooseberry, kiwi, lychee, fresh hay.

Palate: Not as powerful at first as the previous batch with its 59.2%, no licorice or salt to be detected, rather the focus here is on the fresh fruit notes from the start, such as apricot, quince and mandarin. Peat smoke is a constant companion, not intrusive, but present, very tasty. Toffee, cafe au lait, caramel, toffee.

Finish: Medium long and caramelly, marzipan, almonds, peat smoke, dry wood and espresso beans.
