Tasting notes：

Nose: First of all, the typical Ben Nevis dirtiness with workshop, motor oil and earth (no, that's not sulphur) suits me, but is then replaced by increasingly stronger great fruit notes such as apricots and oranges. Oh yes, this is Ben Nevis at its best! Pleasant notes of sherry (not a sherry bomb) come in the form of dark cherries, but don't overpower the malt and lead to a nice interplay of fresher and darker fruit notes. Everything leaves a nice creamy impression, with the alcohol perfectly integrated.

Palate: The malt is beautifully full-bodied and oily on the tongue: Some umami after mild breasaola transitions into sweeter and stronger sherry notes than on the nose. The malt makes a great creamy but also heavier/dark impression.
Clear but pleasant wood from European oak pushes up and tingles in the form of black pepper on the tongue. Fruit is also present in the form of dark red grapes and dried fruit. Towards the end, tobacco and milk chocolate are noticeable. Everything is super integrated here too!

Finish: Long with wood spices, sweet sherry and milk chocolate. Luckily, the drought is staying within limits!
