Tasting notes：

Nose: I don't notice that we are dealing with over 56% here. First, the scent of pine nuts roasted in a pan jumps out at me. In addition, dusty, dry wood, a hint of campfire, lemon, caramel and also slightly malty notes. After 10 minutes in the glass, honey and cherry notes (untypical for a bourbon cask) are added.

Palate: Very powerful without being sharp. Also much fresher on the palate than the nose would suggest. Slightly edgy, but without any off-notes - appears slightly younger than its 10-year-old brother, who was bottled at only 46%, but not significantly so. Pear, pineapple, charcoal, campfire, toffee, brine, lemon zest, some oak seasoning.

Finish: Medium-length finish with charred caramel and candied pear.
