Tasting notes：

Nose: Initially fleeting but then becoming more prominent, the first notes of vanilla and caramel are very pleasant. Light fruits are increasingly present. At first there is a subtle hint of smoke. The longer I hold the glass in my hands, the more present the smoke becomes. It is not intrusive.

Palate: The whisky is easy to chew in the mouth and lasts for a long time without the alcohol becoming too harsh. It is very well integrated and does not disturb the distillate. I can clearly smell light fruits and the spice of the wood. As the glass gets warmer, the smoke also blossoms and accompanies each sip noticeably but not overwhelmingly. The impressions of the sherry cask are at best subordinately perceptible, which has a very positive effect on the overall impression.

Finish: The finish is warming and initially medium-long. But it gets better the more you drink it. The pleasant impression of peat remains. Much later, a taste of ripe pear remains on the palate and of lemon in the mouth.
